Birthing my daughter Avy was my passport to adulthood. She allowed me to access my intuition in ways I never knew possible. I had this pillar of self-trust, guiding me to surrender entirely to her needs and rhythms. Mothering showed me what it was like to step up, boundlessly give, and respond to her in a way that aligned fully with heart. Was it hard? Absolutely. She was undoubtedly a high-needs baby, but she taught me how to connect with soul and have true meaning in my life. I was tired – exhausted, in fact – but full of joy.
